Labelling of symptoms must progress to analysis of causes. Projection mechanisms in social behaviour demand the time dimension for full understanding of the feedback system involved (analysis of ‘here and now’ process is not enough). Strategies of change in the armouring of social systems are indicated, together with responsive change-resistant dynamics often paradoxically stemming from religion.
